I bought a Birch luxe mattress only four months ago and it was too firm for my shoulders since I am a combo sleeper. I needed a topper that was firm enough to support my lower back and sacrum but still had enough cushion for my shoulders. I went through two toppers and my body was in so much pain, until I found this topper. It has a been a couple of weeks and my lower back/sacrum pain has went away completely. Gave new life to an old mattress!

Only had the mattress in place for about a week. So far, it is as advertised. I ordered King Firm and placed it on a platform with 1/2 plywood under the mattress. Solid. If it holds it's firm factor for 2-3 years, i will be giving another 5 Star Review.
