We've had this stainless steel (Simple-Human) kitchen waste can for about 7-8 years and it has served us just dandy. As there is only the 2-of us we maybe have to take a full bag about 2-3 times a week around the side of our apt. building where the bin is located. Given we are now both in our 70's and myself not able to get out at all...this size (Code-C) seems to be no problem weight-wise to manage for my wife. I have no idea what "Code-C size" is in "Liters/Gallons/Metric-Ton's, etc. We've never had a bag tear/leak/split or any other mishap with them. At the end of the day...trash is trash...till it perhaps falls all over and out during the trip to it final destination...then it becomes a flipping mess and another job you hadn't planned on picking it all back up, perhaps with the building's superintendent watching over to be sure it's all cleared up...let alone the pure embarrassment. I've found them to be a quality product and will continue to use those bags and container that fits-m neatly in place.
