I have used this board for slicing up chicken and beef so far. this will be my go to board for smaller cuts of meat. I wouldn't carve a large turkey or salmon on it, but any other smaller cut of meat will work fine.

Wait for the sale, get a deal on a quality knife, not all of them are crafted in Japan, so if you see an approachable price you'll probably get one made in China, however the quality is just fine.

Love it. Cuts my brisket like cutting butter. And the scabbard and retainer pin is excellent protection. Very pleased with this purchase.
