AMAZING WARRANTY SERVICE! I sent my broken (blade detached from handle) Shun chef's knife in for a warranty claim using the online reporting system. I did not realize I bought the knife almost 9 years ago and was not sure what the warranty would cover - it is used in what I would describe as heavy home cooking use by a foodie for 9 years! I promptly received a new replacement knife with no additional information requested or questions asked. Shun makes excellent knives and is a great company that stands behind their products. Highly recommended!
