Shop Stego Industries

My experience with Stego products and their website has been excellent. Finding what I needed for my basement was simple using their website resources and instructions. I used the Stego crawl 15mil barrier with the seam tape, and in certain areas i used the tack tape as well. The tapes don't perform as well as I expected, though. The tack tape didn't adhere well at all to treated plywood; i know this isn't the ideal substrate, like the concrete in the video, but I didn't have a nice concrete wall to work with. The seam tape works great on flat seams but tends to pull up in corners and around obstructions. The tape is strong and flexible, but any flex put on it to work around corners and pipes (even slight flex) would slowly pull up, as the adhesive wasn't strong enough to hold against the tendency of the tape to return to its original form. While these were missed expectations for the tapes, I was still able to get a high-quality job done.

The delivery was fast. Initially after the order I had no idea when it was to arrive. That could improve. Otherwise a good experience.

Great product,was easy to install..would be nice to ad a colored stripe 6"from the edge to facilitate the installation .
