Happy with end result, installation was more challenging than necessary

The size and look was exactly what I needed. And I was really excited about the simplicity. However, the online description was a little misleading, it arrived at the maximum length and needed to be cut to size which was not mentioned anywhere or in the instructions. Additionally, the screw in pieces (round feet and ceiling mounts) were not threaded all the way and took some intensive effort to get them to fit with the standard screws provided. Only one went in smoothly, they came out level but only with multiple adjustments. The shelves and rails also proved tricky, they had to click just right to stay in place, my first two attempts resulted in clothes on the floor. I’m happy with the end look and function but wouldn’t buy again unless the product was improved.

Needs better packing

Screws and anchors lost inside shelves and came with small dings. They are hollow so tend to tip forward. If they hold the 60 pounds as claimed, I’ll eat them! But without looking close they look ok.

bad design, the mount would

bad design, the mount would be so much better if the posts were connected with thin metal bar (or any continuous mount, like other mfrs. ) so it could be secured to at least one stud. When mounted with 2 single posts, the drywall anchor gets loose when have to jam the shelf forcefully on to the 2 posts, the alignment is so precise it will always need excessive force to get it against wall. not a job for the beginner.

The quality isn't good enough.

The online purchasing experience and delivery time were both good, but the quality of the product simply isn't a value at any price. The shelf holes into which the wall supports slide are gaping and allow too much play. Also, within 24 hours, the shelf sagged several degrees, enough that my son's toy cars wouldn't stay still even "parked" angled at 45 degrees over the shelf's surface. I bought two floating shelves; one is still unopened and both have been replaced by the much higher quality Pottery Barn versions. I wanted to like these but the shelves simply don't function well.
