Having 2 separate posts is much harder to line up than shelves I have installed with the 2 posts as one piece.

I honestly love the YOMO shelf I got, but there are some frustrations along the way. Please do not try to build this yourself, no matter what. It is a 2 person job, and it's not a suggestion. It's hard to explain, but the way assembly is designed makes it so that you often need to put together 3 pieces at once before an area is stable to stand on its own. And since a lot of this is particle board, that makes them easy to break unless you have a friend helping you support the weight. I had to order a few extra pieces because of I attempted to build this myself, and pieces broke. However, the modularity and design of this just works so well for my space. And once it is complete, it looks great.

Really like the shelf. It was exactly what we needed. Only suggestion we have is that it would be helpful if it came with a template to install. Perfect size for our needs.

The shelf was nicely built but the included anchors don't adequately support the shelf for drywall installation. I ended up replacing the anchors with butterfly style as the included anchors felt very unstable.
