Great tool and very reasonably priced. My only problem is identifying loads accurately. I think personally it would be worth the effort for Sense to develop their own remote sensor tap. If it was reasonably priced, your customers would buy it, and use it to update the device list. They win, and you would win with more accurate data for your device databases. The tap would go inline for the device you wanted to monitor, much like a network tap. You plug the device into the tap, the tap into the outlet. Update the Sense monitor app, and after profile created from sampling the tap, identify it and it updates the device list for the customer.

Perfectly fine working

This works very well in my house. It has been very close to the municipal hydro readings at the end of each month. Some devices like the Aquanta Smart Water heater haven’t been picked up yet but generally, most of the big items are logging correctly. My infloor heating, furnace, kettle and even my pressure washer was detected. I really like it.

I love it, I use it to keep tabs on my solar output and any items left turned on.
