Sleeping on a DTC foam mattress for 6 years, I developed significant lower back pain after about 3 years. Acknowledging this was partly due to a medical condition, the foam mattress exacerbated the problem because it would slowly sag throughout the night, allowing my spine to drop out of alignment. After a month on the Saatva, I can easily say I haven't slept this well in over 3 years. Very happy with this purchase, and hoping the quality stands up over time.
