Product Review After 2 Months

I ordered my DIY Pool Fence back in April using the website and following up with phone calls. We received the fence in only 3 days from the time it was ordered. We had to call back because the bit was missing and the free post light was missing. I received the bit a couple days later but have still never received the solar post light. I had to install the fence myself as there was no installation crews available in my area. I was able to get the fence up with no problems until I came to the gate. The instructions provided for the gate did not match the gate I received. I didn’t drill the holes with the proper angle on the first attempt. After contacting DIY Pool Fence I was guided through what to do to correct the problem. The second attempt at drilling corrected most of the problem and the gate is a little closer at the top than the bottom as it closes. Better instructions included in shipping addressing the importance of the correct angle to drill would be my one suggestion. The 24 hr response to address problems was very helpful. I would recommend the fence to any of my neighbors as a way to protect little ones from accidental drowning and an excellent product.

Shipping was pretty quick but

Shipping was pretty quick but when It arrived it was missing the plastic sleeves to insert the poles because they were on the ends of the poles during shipping and not in a plastic package taped to the inside of the box. The box got a hole from the poles and I guess the sleeves fell out and no extra are included. They should definitely pad the ends of the poles better for shipping. Also, when you order a 3 foot section instead of 12 ft, be aware it only comes with 1 pole. You are supposed to fastened the other end of the mess to another pole, so if you’re just doing a 3 foot section, then a gate, then continuing with the 12 foot sections like we did, make sure you order an extra pole because it can’t attach to a gate without that pole. We also struggled with the gate assembly and some of the leans on the drill (we did have the drill guide). If you are wondering if you really need the guide, the answer is yes you NEED the guide. Shipping cost is outrageous for items under $100. Thankfully when I called to complain about the sleeves missing and no extras, I got free shipping code although I still think there should be 1 extra per 12 foot section included.

My purchase from poolfencediy.com didn’t

My purchase from poolfencediy.com didn’t go so smoothly at first but was handled correctly in the end. As far as the website, it is very easy to use and very informative, however when making purchase the speed seemed to slow down a lot. Ordered multiple 12 foot and 3 foot sections of the black removable fencing, gate, solar lights, dirt sleeves, drill guide and masonry drill bit. One of the 12 foot sections came brown. The solar lights didn’t fit on top of the fence poles. Drill guide was slightly off on the weld, but I was able to make adjustment quickly. I had a couple of dirt sleeves break, but I think that is because I couldn’t get them embedded into the ground deep enough. I was able to work with Hunter Zunino who took care of sending back the solar lights for refund and sending back the brown section for a black replacement section. Initial order and replacement section were delivered extremely quickly. Overall, I’m satisfied with my purchase as I appreciate the quick delivery of items and the professional service which Hunter displayed in correcting issues I had, as well as the overall products installed.

Pool Fence for Peace of Mind!

My family just recently had an inground pool put in and for the 1st two weeks we had to be extremely careful with our 5 young children going outside. We were constantly worried. We ordered a 5 ft fence for the backyard after pricing around some professional installers who wanted upwards of $1500 for the install. I was able to install the fence in a day. There were some hiccups assembling the gate and doing a few of the custom cuts but YouTube to the rescue. I wish the instructions and videos were a little more helpful to make the process easier. Overall I would definitely recommend DIY Pool Fence to others. We feel much more comfortable now!
