A Great Fence ! And Buy a Rotating Hammer Drill, you will thank yourself.
Overall a great fence. Sturdy, Poles are definitely ultra solid and the fence looks great. I did have a glitch where one set of poles had larger diameter and I didn't notice that. I had to bore out larger holes which took some time.
1. Definitely get a Rotating Hammer Drill, your regular drill will not work, will it will but it will take 30 minutes and 10 bits at 40$ a piece to get the job done. When I bought the Rotating Hammer Drill (20 holes in) I couldn't believe how fast the hole was done. 2 minutes or less. Save yourself hours of work and get the right tools.
2. I found it out they wanted the fence and the gate at a slight angle. To me it looks less professional. Keep it straight up at 90 degrees.
3. Use the Drilling Tool to help keep your cuts straight. One bit off and your fence has that leaning look.
4. The way the guide and the poles are, the fence is actually very tight.
5. The Gate was the rub, 3 deferent sets of instructions and none made sense. You will actually have to drill new holes to fit the hinges. There is a Video on youtube, but I wish that DIY Pool Fence made one. It took forever.
But it is a good gate and the magnetic Lock is great.
6. The Bits they sell are Ok, but better is the ones at Home Depot/Lowes. They cost more (29$ vs 14) but they are far better quality. Figure 3-4 Bits for your project. Save your receipt and take one back if you don't use it. I had to keep going to Home Depot as I didn't realize how fast these drill bits wear out in Florida Concrete.
As for the Pool Lights, they suck. I got two free ones and one died the 2nd night. It is one tiny LED light. Don't bother with them. A Very Cheap look at night.
The Pool Cleaner Holder is decent and nice to keep your clean off the ground but it falls off to easy when you take the Pool Cleaner off. I am not going to use it.
But the Fence is very nice, ultra strong and a great buy for the money. I would use them again. The Customer Service was Great !
