Ordered 2 items, first (Mobel

Ordered 2 items, first (Mobel Delta Locking 4-Drawer Mobile Storage Unit) shipped promptly and arrived within a week without issue. The second item (Game Conference Chair Black Sled Frame) shipped about a week later and spent a FULL month in transit before arriving at my house in Auckland. Via the website tracking I could see the item originated from New Plymouth, to Auckland, to Whangarei (???) then back to Auckland, until finally at my house. And that was only because I complained to aftersales and they called the transit company to sort the issue out. The item arrived poorly packaged (just a big plastic bag, no carton or any other protection) and it was damaged during transit. A chunk of the plastic, about the size of 2x2cm area, broke off from the chair during transit and there are scratch marks in various spots due to poor protection the plastic bag offered. I would recommend the first item, came from a supplier that made a well made piece of furniture, and properly protected and shipped without issue. I will NOT recommend the second item or anything that comes out of the New Plymouth supplier. Their packaging is atrocious and the courier company they chose is terrible at doing their job.

Our key issues were with

Our key issues were with your manufacturers and couriers. Dani in Customer Service was helpful, but it took from Monday-Friday to get an answer back from the manufacturer as to when the items would be ready. Items were finally despatched from New Plymouth on Friday, 25th June and were sent to Auckland (we're in Nelson). They then made it to Wellington at 6am Monday 28th June, but were not put on the ferry that day and due to the ferries not running on the Tuesday (which we all knew was going to happen!) eventually made it to Blenheim at 3.25am Monday 5th July. Finally delivered to our premises in Nelson at 1.30pm on Tuesday, 6th July. All of this despite being marked as urgent. Very disappointing.

Really not happy with the

Really not happy with the experience in general. The product took 15days to arrive even though we are in one of the main city's and are not rural. The product arrived and was damaged but due to the time it took for the product to arrive we have just accepted it as it is and are moving along. The question still remains though was it damaged by the couriers or was it shipped “damaged”. Will definitely not be using office furniture warehouse nor recommend them based on our experience.

Office chair suffered a huge

Office chair suffered a huge cost reduction between 2020 and 2021 that impacted considerably on product quality and its performance but sale cost was the same. After a good purchasing experience back in April 2020, I purchased a second chair that did not deliver the expectations. Mainly for the shorter cylinder that does not allow the same elevation but what is really frustrating is the armrest that is fixed from the chair purchased in 2021. It wouldn’t be a problem if it was at a height that you could rest your arm but it is extremely low. We have accepted the chair as is because of lockdown and the real need for it (as well as to avoid the re stocking fee proposed by the staff if returned) but will re think to buy again from The Office Furniture Warehouse

Communication was poor, contacted your service centre and the courier multiple times with a promise of making contact and NO contact occurred, very disappointing customer service and communication
