I am SO HAPPY with my Bosch Universal Plus!! Wish I would have got one years ago. I have 'got by' with my Bosch Compact for 25 years, but the Universal Plus just made my life much easier. When I make Christmas sugar cookies, I always make two double batches. With my Compact, I had to do one batch, wash it and the mixing attachments and start over. And the Compact BARELY handled that much. (Many times I wasn't happy with the result because it left dry crumbs at the bottom that wouldn't mix into the dough. ) I used my Christmas bonus to buy the the Universal Plus and it handled all 8 cups of flour, the sugar, eggs etc with room to spare!! I was worried it would "climb" up the center mixing piece, but it didn't. It mixed it all up PERFECTLY. I had absolutely the most beautiful sugar cookie dough that I've ever had. And the frosting mixed up very, very nicely and easily too! Best dough and frosting ever! It was so easy and saved me a lot of time and frustration! I love Bosch! Please note that I did not order the extra cookie dough paddles. I just used the attachments that came with the mixer. They worked great!
