Could Use Better Communication

Had an issue with my payment, which was my fault, but instead of notifying me to let me know there was a problem they just didn’t say anything. This went on for weeks. Once payment was resolved, I received it in a timely manner.

The delivery took a very

The delivery took a very long time. It was hard to track the shipment as it was drop-shipped several times. It appeared to be sitting in Kansas for weeks before final delivery. Then when it showed up I got last minute notice, it changed shippers again, and apparently someone along the way put a fork lift through the crate and punched into the plastic outer shell. Norwall refused to do anything about it because my wife did not refuse delivery. But it was not functional damage and should still work. Just a disappointing delivery procedure that they should improve. Who wants to deny delivery and start all over again? You could be waiting a year just to get a generator delivered and connected.

Experience

Expensive, including the last minute $130 shipping rate increase with no prior notice. Even though you seemed to know about it before my order was placed. Kind of holds me hostage, doesn't it ? But, that's where we are today

Can't get a generator

I know that Norwall isn't to blame for the problems with Onan RV generators...I can't review my entire Norwall experience when there hasn't been much. I was pestered by the website to track my order. When I tried, I was told my order didn't exist. Upon calling in distress, I was told that "because I placed my order with a phone call, I wasn't in the system." So your website was helpful in ordering my generator (didn't explain the difference in the Onan 5500 series options), nor help in locating my order. That's a zero in two tries.

Customer service was ok, just couldn't wait 1-45 wks. for a generator.
