I purchased a vanity at
I purchased a vanity at a price lower than other competitors because it was being advertised as a "sale". I was charged for the advertised amount originally. The next day I was contacted by backyard provider and the company proceeded to collect an additional 80 something dollars for shipping, which was fine and expected. Days later I was contacted yet again and was informed that they would be unable to ship at this price due to the item being large in size. Backyardprovider proceeded at this time to collect 200 additional dollars to cover the freight shipping (now exceeding all competitors pricing). With this amount being collected shipping was expedited for about a week out. The item arrived with a massive hole caved in the side and the delivery service immediately loaded the product back up and drove away. Backyard provider had me send photos to confirm damage and advised me that a replacement would be shipped Monday. Today is Monday and Backyardprovider does not know the status of the replacement, nor does the shipping company or the distributer...Myron with Backyardprovider is friendly and seems to genuinly help as much as possible, but the company as a whole seems to be very unorganized. I feel that the "deal" on the product I purchased was never intended to be a deal whatsoever and that the ticket price was basically just a misleading tactic used by the company to get people to buy specifically from them instead of using competitors, knowing that they will just uncharge the customer later. This purchase process was extremely disappointing and will not be using them again.
