I like the high end rails at the foot and head on the lower bunk. 11+” clearance under bed for storage. The 4” mattresses were very firm, so I topped with Japanese shikibuton - still safe height. Steel support for upper is strong. Hired pro to assemble. Took 1 strong man less than two hours. Looks great and girls love it!
