My cats love to scratch my Mad Matters ‘Welcome’ mat and it made me so sad as some of their fur is embedded into the mat. I appreciate this recommended Coir mat. I put it at the bottom of the stairs which is in the pathway of kitty litter box and the upstairs. It catches the kitty litter (from their paws) so less is tracked upstairs and it’s a great scratch pad!!
