Packing is great and keeps the product as cool as possible especially with the heat issues that occur in my region. Typically refrigerate the bags once they arrive for a few hours and let them come back down to room temperature prior to inoculation. Great results!

I got my first magic bag in recently and colonized it. The colonization process was easy and the mycelium developed quickly. The instructions and videos made it really clear what I needed to do. Currently working on fruiting my first bag!

I started with 4 bags and 2 liquid culture syringes - 3 out of 4 bags colonized, no mycelium in the 4th bag. Hard to say what went wrong, especially as this was my first attempt. I’m in the fruiting stage for the 3 remaining fully colonized bags (a little worried that one of them may be over colonized), but i think things are going well, at least for two of them. . . For a first timer maybe this is not so bad? My take is that these bags and recommended liquid culture streamline a process that takes some care and attention to detail. Maybe this is one of the easiest ways to get into it - definitely strikes me as a high quality operation. nice packaging and instructions, everything necessary for cultivation is supplied. I’ll probably order again and give it another try.
