I bought my first bidet a couple of years before the COVID19 pandemic, so when people couldn't get toilet paper, I was already ahead of the curve. Compared to some of the (pricier) other popular brands I've seen and tested at friends' homes, the Luxe is more like a Super Soaker than a garden hose. The immediate, focused pressure can be a little alarming, but once you get the hang of it, you can get your crack as clean as a whistle. The customer service at Luxe is one of the best reasons to go with one of their bidets, IMO. When I told them the main plastic knob had broken and the pressure was sometimes too intense, they sent me both a replacement AND a sturdy modifier to install so I can regulate the pressure better - both for free and with zero hassle! Having been spoiled for several years with a bidet at home, I eventually bought a portable one that's proven to be a lifesaver when staying in Central America (where you have to put used TP in the trash bin rather than flush it) and at work. My only complaints are 1. that the plastic parts seem quite fragile - especially the little "door" that swivels and covers the bidet - any time I'm cleaning it by hand, I have to be very careful not to snap it. And 2. I'm mad that America was so mad at France that the settler-colonizers who won rejected any and everything associated with Frenchness. We could have all been enjoying much better hygiene and using much less toilet paper for hundreds of years.

Good product

At the beginning of the Covid pandemic as toilet paper became an object of concern we decided to order ourselves a Lux bidet!! It came quickly in a few days and I installed it myself. I was 56 at the time and my husband was not available to do it at that time. It took me about 15 minutes! I was so proud of the ease and quick assembly! Over these past several years we have really enjoyed "the go"! We often wait to come home so we can enjoy the privacy and lux bidet experience! We have bought several more and given them as house warming gifts to our young friends and family. Even went as far as to install one at my daughter's house for her!! We've never had a difficulty with our Lux products and if we ever do, we will buy another one immediately! Great product, great style choices and great pricing! And oh yes. We do use less TP, Enjoy the fresher feeling and appreciate less waste for our septic system!
