Installation is easy if you follow the directions. I have had this over 2 years and it has never had any issues with leaks or other - still performing well. We have a regular bidet in our master bathroom so there is no comparison to that. Still, to retrofit an exisitng toilet, this works very well, and gets the job done. I like the lever for the water flow but it is sometimes harder to gradually change the water flow / pressure if you move it too quickly. This also only works with the cold water so you may not need your coffee to wake you up in the morning after. It's actually more of a refreshing feeling once you get used to it. I also ordered separately a set of 4 toilet seat bumpers, only needing 2 in the front to keep pressure off the unit and maybe that is why it has lasted so long (gave other 2 to an employee with same bidet), and they have worked great. Maybe 2 should come with it? The price now is even less than what I initially paid so this is a great deal! If you have never used one before, you will not regret this experience. For the price, this is a 5 star value!
