Cozy and warm. I love the base blanket with both soft winter cover and the cooling bamboo one for warmer weather. Got this as a holiday gift for my teenage son who had outgrown his child one; while initially he wished for the whimsical decorations on the now-too-small one, he has transitioned to sleeping with this because it is so warm and cozy, helping him to sleep. The dog loves it! Some folks had noted that this would make a great couch throw because it is so snuggly and versatile. I can attest to this. We kept it there for the holidays as my son and the dog were hanging out on the couch so much. I might recommend some brighter color, perhaps a blue, for an immediate YES for some. Yet, ultimately, the quality and feel won my son over. And the combination of environmentally responsible, price point and women-owned cannot be beat.
