Great mattress but be careful of the base you put this on.
We made the mistake of not researching our new bed base properly before buying the Leesa, so it's definitely worth thinking about this before your purchase and checking compatibility. Totally our mistake though and I can't fault the mattress itself.
We bought a Simba sprung slatted base and a Leesa mattress. They did not like each other at all! The motion transfer was awful, resulting in a really, really bouncy bed. It was so bad, I could feel my partner breathing, and as for any sort of movement, I may as well have been on a trampoline! 3 (literally) sleepless nights later, I thought I'd made a terrible mistake and we dismantled the base and used the mattress on the floor. It was perfect. I also rang Leesa who gave me great advice and let me know that sort of base we'd bought was not recommended for the mattress. I also later found information on their website saying this, but I hadn't spotted it. Put this on a solid base!
Anyway, after changing the sprung slats for boards (I couldn't send the base back as I bought it 3rd party), and putting another supporting board over those, the mattress was perfect. It's exactly the right firmness level for both of us, despite our very different weights, and we both love it!
It's a very different feel to the old pocket sprung mattress we had before and I was worried at first it would be too firm for me, but it manages to hit just the right level of firmness/softness, and I wouldn't go back to an old style mattress now.
