I use Lawn Synergy products for pre emergent, post emergent, fertilizer, and the all important fungicide for fescue - probably the MOST important step for healthy fescue in the summer (aside from proper watering schedule/time). I decided to try this fescue blend for my over seeding and spot treatment. It germinated and was 2-3 inches tall within 2 weeks. During the hot months, you really should consider fungicide for brown patch EVERY 2 weeks and do NOT water except early morning. Wet soil after dark when the soil temps are 80 or above is fescue suicide. This advice is for fescue only.
