I use Lawn Synergy products for pre emergent, post emergent, fertilizer, and the all important fungicide for fescue - probably the MOST important step for healthy fescue in the summer (aside from proper watering schedule/time). I decided to try this fescue blend for my over seeding and spot treatment. It germinated and was 2-3 inches tall within 2 weeks. During the hot months, you really should consider fungicide for brown patch EVERY 2 weeks and do NOT water except early morning. Wet soil after dark when the soil temps are 80 or above is fescue suicide. This advice is for fescue only.

I live in Philly and used to order seeds from Scott. However the grass from Scott was dying off during summer . This time I used ChatGPT and it suggested the seeds from Synergy North Star. I trusted and ordered these grass seed as suggested by ChatGPT for my area. I was skeptical at the beginning but it turned out very well. The seed quality was very high and There was no filler and all were pure grass seeds. I seeded my lawn in mid -September ( to have enough rain and also right temperature ) and all seeds came out as a great grass quickly ( in 7 days ). So far , so good and I am happy with the result and grass colors. Will see how it goes in next summer but so far , I am happy with the performance .
