Koala NZ - Old

Been loving the mattress so far, perfect firmness for my taste and the back pain is gone which was caused by most soft pillow top mattresses.

I considered the options available and went with Koala as it was available in Auckland same day and was not made in China. Nothing against China, I simply prefer lower transport miles; I also perceive a greater likelihood of equivalence in safety and enviromental standards in Australian manufacturing to NZ. The only significant detractor from the experience was the box arrived looking: 1) opened; and, 2) like it had been gnawed at by a collection of animals. The mattress itself was safe inside it’s plastic wrap but given it was distributed from Auckland the box should have been replaced rather than sent as it was. I closely considered sending it back as I felt uneasy, my daughter, who I spend 24 hours a day protecting, was going to sleep on a potentially compromised mattress. The mattress is very comfortable. First night out of the box and the little one slept for 12 hours, almost unprecedented. Thumbs up on the defered payment option too.

I absolutely love my koala mattress ! It’s so soft yet firm and extremely supportive giving the perfect nights sleep!
