Significant calcium passes the filter and plugs shower heads.

It does not soften the water.

Problems with my install. Intermittent sounds from the unit that starts when the tap is opened and persists several seconds after closure. It’s like a giant tuning fork

Honestly, I am quit disappointed but I don't know if it is this system or if it is the city water at our new house. Compared to the reverse osmosis system that we had at our old house, this water tastes terrible so I am still drinking bottled water from the store and plan to purchase a different water filtering system when I can afford another one.
