Replaced one that was about 13 years old

The overall quality and value of this chair is good. It doesn’t go low enough for the lower back; otherwise, it would be a five-star rating.

I love this product. I would like to suggest a couple of improvements. A way to turn off the calf section and continue with just the foot and ankle sections. Controllable heat level with more available heat.

I bought this for sore calves from running, would have liked more posterior calf pressure. Still a great feeling when done, but I needed more to relieve pain.

I am definitely happy with the actual massage mechanism on this unit, and it's ability to perform various massage techniques. That being said, I do wish that when it 'parked', it wouldn't protrude out of the back, and therefore into mine. In other words, it's not comfortable to just sit in as a regular chair, because of getting poked in the back. My biggest complaint though, is that because the material is so slick I can't stay seated in it properly. I find myself constantly pushing myself back upright, which works against trying to stay relaxed while in it... I am also still considering buying some furniture risers, as it is really low (and I'm not tall) but this is not factoring into the loss of a star as I knew about this when I bought it.
