Flow Hive/BEES have not performed

Hi ! Must say that I am VERY disappointed with the LACK of honey production with my Flow Hive. My first 'nuc' had a WITCH QUEEN !!!.....couldn't go near the hive without being attacked :-( Nevertheless, they DID produce about 2 kg of honey...pretty 'light' volume. We replaced HER with a 'Golden Italian' queen..MUCH 'nicer' gal, and crew, however, here at Southern Fleurieu, South Australia, we had a GENERALLY cold/poor honey production season last summer. Hive was 'fed' through winter....~ 2 litres. Thus far, the workers are simply 'scouting' the Flow Frames...no honey deposition YET !!! Looks to be a good volume of brood, and honey aromas surround the immediate area of the hive...but none going into the Flow Frames ?? So, there we are....lotta hard work setting up/maintaining, for no honey volume to speak of. Nearby ( 800 metres as the bee flies ) STANDARD hives have TWO honey supers on !!!! Any ideas ? Regards, John Edwards.

Flow Pollinator House - poorly made and didn't work

This product is very poorly made and doesn't do the job it was made for. It fell apart immediately so had to screw it back together. It was hard to mount on a tree. It had to be reinforced. The wood actually split so had to glue it back together as well. And no bees have inhabited it at all. A lot of money for a really cheaply made product.

Bees don’t like it

Put in my hive bees are avoiding it, a lot of money for something that does not work, would have been better off with a traditional hive

No Honey Flow Hive Hybrid

I have had the Flow hive Hybrid for 2 seasons. I get plenty of honey in the regular side frames but the bees will not fill the Flow frames. This year I tried coating the Flow frames with wax and honey buy the bees wont use them.
