What a pleasant surprise to come back to renovated guest rooms and lobby. Upgraded to a corner deluxe room on the 7th floor which was spacious and offered a nice seating area conducive to work and video calls. The room itself is fresh and chic with a pale color palette in the bedroom/seating area and the bathroom has a nice pop of blue tile in the shower. Super clean and modern - the bathroom mirror is awesome as is the shower head and pressure. Noise off the highway can be annoying at times overnight - my room faced that direction - maybe earplugs in the room would be nice for those really bothered by it. I was happy to have a view of SMU so it was ok for me. Once the hallway renovation is complete the whole property will be the best in the SMU area IMO. I’ll be back. Shout out to the valet team - friendly, quick and helpful.
