Online shopping experience was straight forward and easy but improvements could be made with shipping; experienced a 3-week cycle from date of purchase to receiving goods at a delivery fee of $15 on a 1lb product suggest a break in the supply chain. The delivery wait time and fee is not congruent with the size/weight of product.

Love the product itself but the shipping was a bit clunky. The order was delayed by a couple of weeks and I'd ordered multiples of the boxes and they were each shipped in separate packages. Maybe this isn't a regular product and the shipping process just hasn't been streamlined. Otherwise, I had great experience ordering from the website and the product itself was perfect.

The Palissade bench arrived in a battered carton with some marks on the finish of the bench itself. The Palissade lounge chair arrived intact. Both items were sent pretty promptly. Customer service was responsive to shipping issues with the bench and offered a discount on the item. The service by HAY was overall fine, but my satisfaction with the product due to the way shippers treat merchandise, and some details about the quality of the items themselves make me reluctant to order larger items by mail. Better to get them directly from a store so it’s more clear about exactly what one is buying. I might order more from HAY because I like what they sell, but not anything big that might be treated poorly by a shipper.

Shipping takes forever and the quality of product isn't worth the price.
