After years of coveting one of the full sized map quilts, I bought the Brooklyn quilt for my queen sized bed, and I absolutely love it. The design is subtle, so from afar it isn’t obvious what the quilt is about, but up close it is quietly thrilling to trace the blocks of our neighborhood and explore the borough through stitches. The quilt has held up well over about five years of use (we have it dry cleaned twice a year) and I know we will treasure it for a long while to come.

Call me crazy 🤪 but I'm making 5.. yes 5 custome quilts for family gifts. And I love that I felt empowered to do so by Haptic Labs! The US map I'm doing twice (🫡🤯) for my twin brothers in the armed services customized to bases where they were stationed, where their children were born, where they were married etc.. the other 3 I plan on the large constellations. Wish me luck!!

I‘ve bought two things over the years. The first was a quilt pattern for the Constellation quilt, the second was a finished quilt. Both are so very lovely! For the first one, I had to contact the support and they were super nice and super helpful! If I has more space for blankets, I would have bought another one already. They may seem pricey (which I don’t think they are, considering the manufacturing process) but are so worth the money!

I have never seen such amazing craftsmanship on a quilt before. The choice of materials and quality of work is top notch. Do yourself a favor and buy a Haptic Lab quilt!

Over the years I have treasured the gift of my quilt of The Outer Banks, North Carolina; I have also had much pleasure in giving " map quilts" to family members and friends who have a fondness for special destination family reunions such as Cape Cod. They are so much more than soft comfy bed coverings: they serve as beautiful art pieces for any room that they occupy.
