this is a tough mattress protector and it too has cooling technology built into it its a balance of protecting and cooling with out really knowing its there in the night. I'm a firm belive in this mattress protector

i dont know what material this is made out of but it has what seems to be a 3 stage cooling feature where the cover has a cooling side the pillow has a cooling side and when you mix and match you can get different levels of cool. These are a bit smaller than im used to but i have enjoying many good nights sleep on these and will continue to use them.
