I bought the #6 skillet and am very happy with it. The factory seasoning was good enough for me to start using the skillet right away. I have seasoned the skillet a few times and cooked with it at least a dozen times. It cooks great, and is the perfect size for a smallish cornbread. The design is classic. Customer service is outstanding. I bought the skillet with a can of seasoning, brush, and chain mail scrubber. It arrived without the chain mail scrubber. I sent an email to Field, they mailed me one immediately.

Love the griddle

The pan seems nicely made and lighter than many, after using for a while and taking care of it each time, it became real smooth and shiny! But when I sear steaks, I use heavier cast iron from other companies!

Good experience on website. Love the updates. Nice product. I am really looking forward to using my braised on live fire!
