Everything was fine. The only thing was the 'nominal size' of the replacement shutters and the 'nominal size' of the originals, although both were stated as 14 1/2", were not the same. One was slightly bigger and the other slightly smaller so with the new shutters on, there is a 1/2" gap that wasn't there before.

The jury is still out on this. I ordered shutters with color coordinated wood screws and rubber caps but instead received the plastic pins which I don't like. I telephoned and was informed that a hardware package would be shipped to me soon. So....so far I am happy but I am waiting for the hardware.
