After trying many hose shutoff valves, hand sprinklers, hoses, and quick-connect fittings, I can confidently say that Eley is in a class of its own. I spend hours each day watering large areas of moss, flowers, trees, shrubs, and other plantings. I use oscillating sprinklers where broad, even coverage is appropriate, but much of my property is a mixed planting environment in which neighboring plants have very different watering requirements. In those areas, hand watering gives me the precision and control needed to put the right amount of water exactly where it belongs without unnecessarily watering established trees, shrubs, or other nearby plants. When equipment is used for hours at a time, comfort, balance, dependable flow control, and easy connections become extremely important. Eley’s thoughtful design and ergonomics make watering noticeably easier, smoother, and more enjoyable than it was with less capable products. Every Eley product I have purchased has also been exceptionally well made and reliable in daily use. I expect the durability and long service life of Eley products to make them far more economical than repeatedly buying and replacing lesser-quality equipment. I have already replaced much of my watering equipment with Eley products and plan to choose Eley whenever they offer a product that meets my needs. I purchased two 50’ hoses a couple weeks ago and have been impressed with the quality and reliability of these hoses. Definitely one of the best hoses available on the market, and given the high-quality craftsmanship backed by a 10 year warranty, the price of the hose is very fair.
