I called in to check on status of the delivery and immediately spoke with a human (unheard of!) who was absolutely wonderful! Very refreshing, thank you for being amazing.

We like it very much! We were surprised that it arrived in a relatively small box and yet it is a fully functional king size mattress! It is comfortable and well made, and we felt good about ordering it from a family owned business.

We've had the bed for a month now and I am happy to report that I am 100% satisfied with it! We had a full memory foam bed that was at it's last days. Our bodies had imprinted into the mattress and we knew it was time to get a new one. I wanted to go hybrid because I was tired of the edges dipping and also the lack of bounce back during certain bed activities. So, the hunt began. I did extensive research and this mattress came up on a few independent mattress review lists. It scored almost perfectly on all attributes, including the edges and 'certain activities'. The scores were spot on! The only minor issues is that we do notice the other person leaving the bed more on the hybrid, but not enough to become problematic. Once you're asleep, the movement isn't enough to awaken you. It did take a couple of days to get used to the hybrid. Both my husband and I discovered that we had taken on some odd positions to fight the squoosh factor on the old mattress. With the added support from the inner coils, our bodies had to adjust to being properly aligned. The bed also softens up after a couple of weeks, I read that it's because the springs need to loosen up. It doesn’t get excessively softer, rather it gets even more comfortable. We went for the split softness option. I prefer a softer top and my husband likes medium. I wasn't expecting that the top foam arrives separately from the main mattress and you have to insert it yourself. That process is a breeze. It afforded me the opportunity to see how well made the mattress is and the zipper to open up the mattress is super sturdy and zips easily. I also love the idea that we can replace the foam, if necessary. I will point out that you cannot notice any separation between the two foam parts. They butt up against each other and the cover holds them tight. They only way you know is that one side is clearly firmer than the other. Right after we got the mattress, my husband got the flu. Usually, he is unable to lie in bed all day because his back will start hurting and he needs to sit on a chair for a while. This is no longer an issue. A perk to this is now he can lie in bed and Netflix and chill for the weekend. Best mattress I've ever owned. It reminds me of when you go to a fancy hotel and the mattress is like heaven and you wish you could find one just like it. Welp, I found it!

I love my mattress. After sleeping on a 35 year old mattress and old twin box springs this is one of the best investments I ever made. I searched and searched local and national for someone who still built/handled a flip-pable mattress. I honestly dislike the way mattresses are made today with all the foams that are chemically treated. I will promote this mattress 1000%. After receiving it I was a bit apprehensive of a rolled up spring mattress in a box. I did that on the old mattress when moving creating a taco effect and it damaged the baffles inside it which created a hump in the center. These folks have great way of handling it and it was easy to unbox and roll out. Although after sleeping on it the first few nights I thought I was going to regret my purchase. I bought the King size, Classic Two sided mattress firmness was medium. I thought I made a mistake because I was still waking with a sore back and hip since I am a side sleeper. I did some research and I didn't want anything where I would sink into it, that's one of the many reasons I chose DLXs medium after listening to their video. I decided to purchase a Bedlore Protective cover and a Sonive Topper and then the sheets on top. This made the world of difference. With this stack up I still have the old time spring action mattress without all the chemicals. The feeling is so awesome with all products tied to each other. Locked in place with Zlumberlocks keeps everything in place with nothing falling off the bed. On top of that I thought I would keep my old twin wooden box springs and realized after research these were contributing to the discomfort so I purchased two Twin XL Zinus steel mattress Foundation steel sections; the new technology foundation. It all blended together like grandmas chocolate cake recipe. It worked. I have been looking forward to going to bed at night and waking with a decent feeling in my back and hip. I cannot rave enough about this investment. It makes me feel on top of the world. Also one last thing is the handles on the mattress are to die for. they are sewn in straps from top to bottom of the mattress. The old ones were sewn in with a 3/8" rope with eyelet attachments into the side of the mattress with no support which was quite cumbersome. That's my store and I am so heavenly pleased. For a 67 year old guy, all I can say is thank you DLX. Thanks for making a 2 sided mattress and thank you for giving me a good night sleep after 35 years.
