Discount Water Softeners is a breath of fresh air and example of what a great vendor should be. I asked lots of very detailed technical questions via e-mail before purchasing, and all were promptly answered correctly, courteously, and in a friendly fashion. When I purchased, Discount Water Softeners was kind enough to honor the price of the unit from when I inquired, and didn't charge me the current price, which had increased due to supply chain constraints and price increases from their suppliers and shipping partners. There was a delay in arrival of the resin tank, and their shipper's tracking information indicated that it was stuck at its first stop. I called to inquire, and the representative checked the tracking numbers, assured me that they see this all the time, and that it would probably arrive the next day (a Friday). I'd explained that I had a plumber scheduled a week from the following Tuesday, and was concerned that I'd not have the unit when the plumbers arrived. The representative advised me to to call on Monday if it didn't arrive by then, and that they'd be able to get a replacement shipped and at my house before the installation date if the unit didn't arrive by then. Despite the tracking numbers still showing the unit being stuck at its first stop, it arrived at my house on Sunday, and after arrival, the tracking number on the shipper's web site showed the updated travel history. So, despite my doubts, the customer service representative was correct! My system is now installed, and I couldn't be happier with the full experience. I cannot recommend Discount Water Softeners highly enough!

Great service

Was shipped fast and trouble free to California. Packing was more than adequate. Manual is first class. Missing is updated U Tube videos for the latest configuration I have especially for cleaning out dirty orifices. Not in manual either. U Tube video comparisons of different brands was THE decider for me to go with Discount
