Hyphen

Looove my new Hyphen mattress! Have had a LOT of back/shoulder problems lately--dunno if it was my old mattress (just 8 years old actually) or my new penchant for bicycling (blame the CitiBike program for making it so much cheaper than going to a gym), but the pain was so bad i actually had to get therapeutic massages twice. but since i've been sleeping--soundly, btw--on the Hyphen mattress, i haven't experienced any pain. it really is lovely--it's firm but makes you feel kind of float-y at same time--i just sort of melt into it and quickly drift off. smart purchase--am recommending to everyone i know!

I am an athletic build, 5'11", 210pds and I love this mattress. I was able to sleep on my side, back. stomach. Best mattress for the price, without a doubt.

My daughter began Columbia University August, 2016. As a college freshman and Cross Country/Track Team Middle Distance Runner for Columbia, I wanted her to be as comfortable as possible. Well, when I read the ad for Hyphen Mattress I said, "That's Comfort!" I knew she would love it and she does LOVE IT! Her feedback includes, "Mommy this is the best mattress I have slept on my entire 18 years of life" and "Mommy thank you for all you have done and provided to help me move into my dorm room especially that MATTRESS"! Before submitting this review I did ask her, "what's your favorite sleeping position"? Her response was, "every position". Thank you for helping me look good as a Proud Momma. On my fourth night with the Hyphen and while not yet 100% sold on it being perfect its miles ahead of my prior Sealy Posturepedic. I'm finally sleeping soundly for 7 to 7 & 1/2 hours. No tossing or turning and taking me way less time to fall asleep. I'm waking refreshed for the first time and have more morning energy than I have ever had before. What's exceptional is that the cooling effect is there and I can sit on the edge and get dressed as there is better edge support than I expected. The Hyphen gives but returns its shape very quickly on changing positions. If there's a negative, it's a feeling of floating that I'm just not used to having switched from a innerspring mattress & box-spring to a memory foam on a slatted platform. Its dizzying at first but quickly resolves. I'm not sure if its a common complaint but its something that is short lived as you fall asleep that much quicker. There's zero smell unlike some comments I have seen from other memory foam mattress reviews. I narrowed down my choices with the SleepSherpa which is a really great independent site and was able to narrow it to the Hyphen, Love or Bear. In the end I feel my choice was the right one but I'll need a few more days to confirm this.

Excellent! Very comfortable and my back doesn't ache now.
