Concrete Countertop Solutions

I consider myself an experienced carpenter/builder but had never done concrete countertops. These forms, stains, videos etc made the project easy and they turned out way better than I had expected. Very proud of the job.

After purchasing my countertop forms and materials I set out 2x2 trial pieces to practice my technique. Following the videos and advice from your website I found pouring the concrete with the chiseled slat liner to be very straight forward and easy. Then came the color. Using the dyes and getting the effect I was looking for was the real challenge. In the end I realized I was trying to get the end result to quickly and after slowing down achieved the desired result using spray bottles and lightly applying color in 2 passes. I am very impressed with the over all system and get favorable comments from everyone who sees the results.

My concrete countertops were very worn and I was nervous I’d have to replace them which would have been very expensive. I contacted Concrete Countertop Solutions and they provided me with steps to save my counters. I sanded down the counters lightly by hand with 220 grit sandpaper, restrained by hand with stain from Home Depot (stained matched existing stain) and sealed after the stain dried for a day. I added 3 layers of sealer and the counters look brand new. Love them!

Everything worked as planned, shipment arrived as expected, everything just worked, no hiccups, awesome!

I was nervous to undertake this project, but I gained confidence through watching their step by step videos and calling their support line before I got to the point of no return....our project turned out great...I would most definitely recommend to others
