I've used Rustoleum a few times but wanted something longer wearing. Colored Epoxy appears to be extremely hard so I am hopeful.
The first 2 coats and the flakes went down well. I opted not to take the time to fill the expansion joints with backer rod and now I think maybe I should have. I ended up filling the joints with flake, running a line of clear epoxy down the joint to seal them. It filled joints enough to prevent water from getting in but it is not totally flat.
My only reason for rating 4 instead of 5 is I am not totally happy with the final clear coat over the flake. The instructions say to pour, squeegee and then roll. It talks about not letting the roller get over saturated but doesn't emphasize that enough. You want your roller almost dry. I really wonder why you even need to pour the final coat. If it is really thin, it looks beautiful. If however, you leave even a slightly thicker coat, it dries shinny when everything around it looks really good.
For my first time using though, I am happy with the results. I just think it could have looked better if the instructions had been more clear about only a think coat of clear.
