I have worked with a lot of different epoxy over the years and I have to say this epoxy is beautiful !!!

I recently bought a new house and it wasn't what I wanted. I wanted a project house that had a ton of things to fix and upgrade. The wife wanted something we could move into immediately and not have it under construction for an undetermined amount of time. We know who won that battle. Since the wife got what she wanted, I was given carte blanche to do whatever I wanted to do with the garage. Like anything, I knew I needed to start with a solid foundation. I started reading and after my research lead me to the Colored Epoxies website for the third time, I figured I'd give them a call and ask a few questions. I called on a Saturday afternoon not expecting an answer and planned on leaving a message. To my surprise, someone answered. I was planning on doing a checkerboard pattern with two different shades of grey but had no idea how to really get there, so I had more than a few rookie questions to ask. The guy I spoke with was more than helpful. He genuinely took interest in my idea and he literally guided me through how he would go about doing what I wanted step by step. He didn't once try to sell me anything. The entire call was about my project and him giving me sage advice on how to reach my desired result. On a Saturday afternoon. After I ordered my epoxies from them and was getting ready to apply one of the clear coat layers, I noticed that I had mistakenly received a can of white resin instead of clear. I sent them a picture of the white resin in an email at around 1am, again not expecting an answer until the following day. 30 minutes later one of their associates replied that she wasn't sure if that was correct or not, but she was going to immediately overnight me a new gallon of clear resin at no charge first thing in the morning. When I was getting close to finishing the project and had a few questions about applying the stone flakes into one of the layers, I called back. I spoke with the same guy I originally spoke with. He remembered me from the first time I called and again was helpful and freely offered experienced insight on all my questions, as well as discovering things about the project I never even thought of and advising on those details as well. Super wordy review, and I never even actually write reviews. In this case, I really felt I needed to so anyone else who is going down the path of one of these projects would know that these guys are real people that not only have an incredible product, but literally stand behind it and fully support you 100% of the way through it, even if you're just a dude doing a residential garage. I wish there was a way to upload pictures here. My garage turned out incredible and is the envy of the neighborhood. That said, all the credit goes to Colored Epoxies for the guidance and advice on how to do it like a professional. I really can’t say enough about the product as well as the staff. I wish there was an option for 10 stars because they deserve it.

Worked great providing a non-skid on the newly coated shower floors. Very lightly cast over and then a final epoxy sealer when dry. Too much can be like sand paper so you have to use it sparingly.
