Delivery too long
The item I purchased was available at a few furniture stores online. However I chose to go through Casa Vida despite the product being $200-300 more expensive, because they had stock arriving within 5 days of my order. This was in early Dec.
However, it took another 6-7 weeks for delivery (delivery being $200), and multiple follow up emails. On two occasions I was given a window of time that the delivery would occur, and these lapsed. I contacted the company yet again, and within a minute of my email, received tracking information for my delivery. After this, I had a response from my email saying the delivery company had already contacted me; however it was too convenient that this was only prompted by my most recent follow up inquiry.
In hindsight, I should have saved the extra dollars and gone through one of the other companies that were selling the same product. As it turned out in my experience, the wait time for coming back into stock, and delivery, would have been the same.
I was nervous to write this review about my experience. I had read other people’s reviews where a representative from Casa Vida personally degraded the reviewer, which was incredibly off-putting. However, I do feel it is important to honestly communicate my disappointment in my experience.
