I found Monte while looking for quality nursery furniture, made in Canada for my clients. I initially fell in love with the image of a Green velvet chair in a wood panelled room and had to explore the company more. I reached out to their team to discuss the products, namely Ashleigh as my main contact. I must have gone back and forth with her dozens of times with questions and she was always so patient and helpful with me. Then I got pregnant and my gears shifted to personal shopping, which led me back to Ashleigh and a visit to the showroom. I was so impressed (again) with the quality and feel of the chairs in person, it was obvious that this was the item to splurge on for our nursery. I purchased the Matera Motorized Glider in Navy Velvet which is still being made and I can't wait until delivery. The chair has the perfect amount of squishy comfort and support. Additionally, being only 5 feet tall and my husband 6'-7", it works for both of us. The motorized recline being so helpful for me to eliminate the need to wind up and hoist my body forward with a sleeping baby (not to mention postpartum recovery) was an upgrade I knew I wouldn't regret. I look forward to "testing" the chair out and recommending them to my clients every time.
