It was a long process to put together. It took every bit of time and 2 people. looks fantastic an hardly takes up any room. I would suggest you change install comment about being 1/2” away from the wall to INCLUDE baseboard. We went away from the wall - NOT the baseboard on the wall and found it difficult to install nuts/bolts and hook on to cantilever. suggestion for a cell phone holder option we are building with hinge - to add to the wall. contact us if you want to see more. I am very pleased with the bed. It is beautiful, sturdy and better than I was expecting. The ordering process was easy. It shipped on time, was delivered on time and the assembly instructions were well written, clear and detailed. Every piece was wrapped well for shipping. The parts were clearly labeled . I was very impressed. I looked at a lot of Murphy beds before selecting this one and I know I made the right choice. iwould recommend this bed to anyone looking for a Murphy bed.

The bed was pretty easy to assemble but, for the cost of the bed the company could have included a couple of tools that would make the job just a little easier. To do a nice job on a nice unit, I had to purchase a couple of screwdriver bits with a longer shaft, a drill bit with a longer shaft, and a countersink drill bit. All in all, the cost was about $15.00 but the mattress frame was just deep enough that the bits I have would not allow the screws to go in straight. This is minor but the unit itself was pretty easy to assemble. Actual work time was about 2 hours by myself. So for those of you who use another scale to determine difficulty and time, a four beer job.
