Great

This bed was exactly what we dreamt. It is perfect, however the assembly was very long it took us two days to finish it. We are very pleased with the purchase.

Great quality parts. Looks wonderful.

Everything about the product is well designed. I'm very happy with the product overall and its appearance is excellent. There were just a couple of "gotchas" during assembly: 1. When securing the header nailer to the wall studs, I should have reserved 4 screws for later use with the mid and bottom nailers. There's no note for this in the instructions; so I had to find an additional screw as I only had 3 remaining. 2. When securing the front door halves together; I should have taped the entire length together with 3" painters tape to prevent skewing. I followed the directions to the letter during this step and even adjusted it during assembly, but still ended up with slightly mis-alinged door panels." These aren't criticisms of the product overall - just something to consider when building yours. Also, this is definitely a two-person job as they call out. You can get by with some steps on your own, but it will take much longer. Also, if you have a small space - as you might if you're looking to install a murphy bed - it will take longer due to all of the part moving you'll need to do during assembly.

The bed is great and

The bed is great and very well built. The hardest part of assembly is screwing the frame to the doors. The screws would not self start. I had to start them with very shallow pilot holes. It would help to center the frame if the doors were marked or spacers were provided. That said, we are very happy.

Nice workmanship

So far this product performs excellent. Some instructions were not referenced as to “left or right” being my left or product left but in time everything worked out.Bed was mounted into SIPS panels so I had to sandwhich a 3/4” sheet of plywood between top rail Nailer and top rail cover and then lag (6 bolts) into two points at window blocking. It should hold...
