Bird Netting 2" Mesh

I am delighted with the 2" Mesh Netting! I was having a big problem with ravens who had discovered my small deck fountain. I live near a large park, and they began bringing- I kid you not- chicken, bread and full sandwiches with meat and cheese to the fountain to wash and/or soak before eating and/or feeding it to their young!! The meat and soggy bread was polluting the water and kept causing the pipes to clog and the motor to give out. I was able to create a lovely looking, see-through "teepee" by draping the stone colored mesh on four thin, 6" bamboo poles stuck into potted plants surrounding the bottom of the fountain. The poles are drawn together at the top through a short, 5" diameter plastic plumbing tube, then splay out into a crown at the very top. It looks really natural and nice! And it works! Small and medium birds are able to get in and out of the fountain, but large birds like pigeons and ravens cannot. They are giving up, which helps minimize the bird poop on the deck. I wondered if the clever ravens would try to pull the netting apart, but they have simply stopped trying to get in, and left the area :) The guy at BirdBGone was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful over the phone.I have recommended the company to the store I bought the fountain from- same folks that were having to return over and over to unclog the fountain pipes from the bread and other food. I found out that lots of homeowners are having problems with ravens lately. Try building your own teepee- my guests are pretty impressed with the design.

Not good to be a bird

I believe this is a great product for its use, only that you cannot purchase unassembled parts for replacement of damaged or missing, broken parts. Kind of frustrating. You have to purchase the entire assembly.

Great product and service

I needed to fill all the end tiles on my red tile roof and ordered 2 large 100 ft rolls of the copper mesh....its easy to use and stuff into crannies for wildfire mitigation. Should stand up for several years. Thank you!

Yes it works!

Had some pesky Robins that kept trying to build nests in the columns in a covered porch. This has so far successfully kept them away. I hope it keeps working
