This is a great pizza
This is a great pizza oven, affordable and easy to operate. However, it does take a few tries and a lot of patience before you hone your pizza making skills. I found that turning the oven on high for 5 minutes, then turning it down to low and keeping the pizza stone between 600-650 is the best heat. Turn it every 20 seconds until done, make sure you only use 2 tablespoons of sauce and a freshly made pizza dough, not frozen, it will fluff up better and then top it with all your favorite toppings. The pizza will be perfect if you get the heat right and frequently turn skill down. We also prefer using bread flour versus 00 or AP, it fluffs the crust more and tastes better.
As Italian Americans, we can now highly recommend this pizza oven after 3 tries and making a pizza to our liking!
