Firstly I want to say that I chose this product because i want something that will last and not need replacing in 10 years or less. I have had a couple people that bought other beds of the same 'style' and saw mine in the box and said it was twice the size of theirs. To me, that is a telling characteristic! Now I am about 3 months in of sleeping on my new bed. I have nothing negative to report and feel a lot better than i did sleeping on my last mattress, which was decent. I got to take advantage of a sale in july..so look out for those! But either way, I think the splurge is worth it. (Four starts only cuz i dont want it to get a big head)

After reviewing several different mattresses, Awara Hybrid was the best regarding delivery/shipping costs, comfort, and return policy. One reviewer suggested it might be a bit firm for stomach & side-sleepers (we're side-sleepers). It was a bit too firm for my wife (a bit firm on my shoulder laying on my side too), but we still had our topper from before (a nice one) and put that on top of the Amara. Now it's perfect for my wife, but a bit soft for me, which is fine. I have low back disc/pain issues, and this Amara has worked out very well for it (before and after the extra topper). We also chose the Amara for it's "cooler temp" feature, since we live in Hawaii. It may have felt cooler before we added our topper (it certainly didn't feel hot for the 2 wks without the topper on), but it's a bit moot now with the topper. Regarding delivery, it was very good. The box was fairly banged up, but the mattress was encased in plastic and remained perfectly intact. It's also pretty heavy (king size), will require 2 adults to bring to bedroom and lay on bedframe. Take care cutting the plastic not only to avoid cutting the mattress, but also to make sure the mattress doesn't "pop open" and knock other stuff around (it narrowly missed our ceiling fan and lamps on night stands on either side).

The adjustable frame is so luxurious I don't want to get out of bed! However, there are a few things I would change: the massage motors are LOUD and not very effective anyway; I will never use them. (I didn't care either way about massage features but still.) I wish instead there was a foot-warmer feature; I would use that! I wish there was a re-closeable flap of material on the underside of the frame which would keep all the cables in place. I can't see them of course, but it's a hassle to vacuum around. I would just turn it over and try to adjust it, but I don't have anyone to help me and that is definitely a two-person job. Finally, the USB charging ports are a nice touch, but I can't use them. My phone is actually a USB-3 device, and while my charger does have a USB-2 adapter, the charger cable is VERY short: only 12"! These are all nit-picky details. Overall I am very happy with the frame.

EXCELLENT: the most comfortable bed I've ever owned. I'm a hot sleeper and this bed is perfect for Florida. The adjustable frame is so luxurious I don't want to get out of bed! This mattress is comfortable...easy on old bones and joints. It is definitely softer than we expected....softer than the medium form that was advertised. We have a full size mattress and there seems to be no way to get around the roll to the center. But each night the mattress has resumed its form...no permanent dip. We feel it is good value for the cost and are happy with the dunlop latex.
