Candle Arrived Shattered and Broken
I ordered two different scented candles and the one I was most excited about came completely shattered. I ended up cutting myself a bit and had glass splinters on fingers while unwrapping since they had run out of velvet bags but shipped the product anyway without providing additional packaging care.
When I contacted customer service the resolution was they could send me a different scented candle and would be invoiced for payment since the broken candle I originally ordered was sold out and the refund process is handled separately via the shipping company (which I already figured would be the case since these are high demand limited edition purchases). Shipping didn't really address the injury except for saying "oops" which came across as a bit insincere.
Suggestion - Perhaps make a couple extra candles on hand for each limited edition to have on hand in case of shipping issues since these are such hard to purchase items. The company's Instagram marketing emphasizes the hard to obtain factor of each candle drop, so when they arrive broken, it's not only important to address refund specifics, but many of us shift our schedules around to go online and wait in order obtain these high quality uniquely wonderful smelling scents. I love how unique these candles are so its extremely disappointing when we go through the effort to order and come up empty handed
