We had been using our phones for white noise for our baby, but sometimes you need your phone! Plus I didn't want the possible radiation near my babe's little body & brain. The Rohm makes great quality sound for such a small, portable unit. It's become an indispensable part of our bedtime & nap time routine. I haven't found the travel case to be necessary, we just toss it in a bag as-is. Super recommend this for helping baby fall asleep & stay asleep!
